Triple ho.

Time to celebrate a day where a man breaks into everyone's house, steals food-- and everyone's okay with it. Here's to wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

And just because it's seasonal:

First review. Oh em geez!

I've been wracking my brains trying to figure out what my first for-realsies post should be. Don't judge.

I'll keep it simple. And share with you my obsession of the year.

Whenever I mention how much I love these guys, half of the people I'm talking to completely agree, and half of the people have never heard of them. I want to fix this!

Who are they?
They're students from the University of Michigan who wrote/performed "A Very Potter Musical"--which was easily one of the biggest youtube sensations of the year.

AVPM features original potter-rific songs--that both make fun of and have fun with Harry Potter fandom. If you love Harry Potter like I do--you'll love how they poke fun at everything--how they make the characters their own, but still retain some kind of essence of their book personas. It combines all 7 of Rowling's books, as well as adds it's own originality to make it a working story. Plus they manage to make Voldemort sexy as hell.

The songs aren't the greatest--but they're still fun to listen to. There's a definite energy and enthusiasm that the entire cast has, which makes it all the more fun to watch.

Just watch it. Trust me.

You can take a look at TeamStarKid's youtube channel HERE. Also check out their facebook page. Their official website, linked at the top, has AVPM soundtrack available for free download.

I also recommend their latest production, "Me and my Dick"...but only for people who can get a good giggle out of certain-parts-of-the-male-anatomy.

Check one, two, three...Is this thing on?

Wa-hell! Welcome.

I'm creating this fine addition to the blogosphere partially because it's nearly 6 in the morning and the Degrassi marathon on The N (I refuse to call it Teen Nick) ended thus I have nothing else to do...but also partially because I've been toying with this idea for a while. And with it being winter break and all....I actually have time.

So what exactly is this?
Well, it's a blog.
A blog!? I suddenly find myself intrigued and aroused! What's it about?
The lawlz. LOL. Ell oh ell. Laughing out loud. Hilarity. Humorous overtones. Whatever you want to call it. It's about comedy.

Who am I?
I'm a person with free time. I'm a 20 year old majoring in theater. I go to school in Los Angeles. I live in Chicago-- but that's just code for "a suburb west of the city." I studied improv and sketch comedy at The Second City in Chicago from middle school up until when I left for college. At this point in time, I'm hoping to eventually join their Conservatory program. But mostly, I'm just a woman (last time I checked, at least) who's easily amused--and thought it'd be fun to share that with the word. Well, e-world at least.

So, we'll see what I make of this.

What you should expect (I think...):
Me trying to be funny
Reviews
Videos of people/things/shows/movies/clips/whatnot of the humorous nature
Pure, unadulterated awesome.

Stay tuned folks!
